“The Nest” provides a safe, calm, and respectful environment where clients can choose their own essential items — including new clothing, toiletries, toys, and baby care products. By offering choice, we help restore a sense of dignity, autonomy, and control at a time when these can feel lost.
Unlike traditional, standardised care packs, “The Nest” takes a personalised approach, meeting people where they are and supporting emotional regulation during a highly vulnerable time. Every element of the service is designed to reduce trauma, not compound it.
With your support, “The Nest” can continue to empower families with the practical support they need — delivered with the compassion and respect they deserve.
🚨 Referral Guidelines – Crisis Support Only
Tots2Teens only accepts referrals for:
🔹 Crisis Support
This includes:
- Individuals or families who have fled domestic violence with no possessions
- Children or young people who have been removed from home and placed in Kinship or Foster Care
- Homeless youth in urgent need of essential items
📌 Please Note:
We are unable to accept referrals for non-crisis situations. There are other long-term support services available that are better suited to meet general or ongoing needs.
❌ Items We Cannot Provide
Due to insurance and safety restrictions, we are unable to provide the following items:
- Furniture
- Cots
- High chairs
- Prams
- Car seats
- Large baby equipment
- Bedding or sheets (unless specifically for a cot)
