What We Provide

At Tots2Teens, we offer trauma-informed, client-centred support to children, young people, and families experiencing crisis.

The Nest

The Nest is a personalised, trauma-informed initiative for individuals and families escaping domestic violence.

It provides a safe, calm, and respectful environment where clients can select essential items themselves — including new clothing, toiletries, toys, and baby care products. By offering choice, we help restore a sense of dignity, autonomy, and control during a vulnerable time.

Unlike standard care packs, The Nest is client-led and tailored, supporting emotional regulation and reducing trauma. Every element of the service is designed to empower families while delivering practical support with compassion and respect.

All items are new, age-appropriate, and gender-neutral, chosen to support emotional wellbeing during challenging circumstances.

The Resilience Program

The Resilience Program supports children and young people experiencing trauma during emergencies or difficult situations.

Purpose:

  • Distract and comfort during stressful moments
  • Build positive connections between young people and first responders
  • Promote healthy coping strategies and emotional regulation

Why it matters:
Traumatic experiences can have lasting effects on a child’s mental health and development. Resilience Packs provide age-appropriate, gender-neutral tools to help reduce trauma responses and create positive memories.

How it works:

  • Sensory packs are tailored to be age- and stage-appropriate
  • Items are compact to fit in emergency vehicles
  • Designed to support the nervous system in returning to a calm, regulated state
  • Encourage choice and engagement, empowering the young person

By providing these packs, we aim to soften the impact of crisis and foster trust and safety between children and first responders.
